The Disaster Aid UK & Ireland team are made up of a number of committed individuals and volunteers. The following members make up the acting trustees

- Married to Kate for 41 years,2 daughters and 4 Grandsons
- Qualified as a Pharmacist in 1968. Worked in Pharmaceutical Production for 5 years and in Community Pharmacy until retirement 3 years ago
- 21 years in Rotary. Twice President of Denton and Audenshaw Rotary Club and International Chairman of the club for most of that time. Paul Harris Fellow
- Involved with Rotary Emergency Box Trust for 16 years. Chairman for 14 years
- Trustee of local Hospice Willow Wood
- Other interests include Rugby Union,Classic Cars particularly Aston Martin and Chess
